If your reading this to figure out if you should play or purchase portal 2, I would say it’s 9.9 out of two thumbs up. Play the game. If you want to wait for a steam sale? Sure that’s cool, times are hard. I bought cake’s Fashion Nugget used in 2002, it was still great music but the culture I wanted to be a part of no longer existed.

On the right you will see the very first Bone comic book I ever read, given to me by my sister as a gift. On the left is the new Bone handbook published by scholastic. In the center is the paper craft rat creature I designed that was included in the Bone handbook.

I read a number of comics growing up but very few of them were from american creators, and only one of them kept my sister and me coming back to Excalibur comics (a local shop we cleaned for store credit). That comic was Bone, while the bi-monthly schedule was hard for a younger kid each issue of bone was more then worth waiting for. Having just a little of my work find it’s way into a Bone book was quite a kick.

Thanks to Vijaya and Jeff for making it happen and to Steve Hamaker for making my design look like it popped right out of the comic.

It’s obvious I have not been updating my sites much. I have been on an extended hiatus while working on new projects. One of witch has born it’s very first fruit that I will post about soon. But right now I feel like sharing a little of my road map.

I intend to redesign my two sites so that my downloads are easier to find, www.papercrafted.com will lose it’s central blog and all blog information, previews of new content, and talk about my projects will be moving to www.tylertinsley.com

My star wars character sheet went over well with the fans but they demanded more! (changes) who am i to deny these teaming masses, so not only am i now offering the character sheet 2.0 but also a sheet to help GM’s run encounters and an incredibly useful character summary card that easily compresses a whole characters worth of information onto one card! Just place it in the GM’s card reader or the Portrait block on the character sheet to read the information. A collection of stuff this good could only be called a pack! When played in the proper fashion, with auctions and a time limit, monopoly can be a great game. Monopoly was revolutionary, released at a time when games had two categories, roll and move or two player strategy. Monopoly is a compromise, it has depth and strategy with a fair bit of luck. If you like modern games then you probably owe something to this classic.

However the only people known to play monopoly properly are game designers, even then it’s mostly so they can correct people that say monopoly is bad. So then, why do people play monopoly wrong if it has the potential to be good?
